An introduction to Burgundy with Head Sommelier Terry Kandylis.
Burgundy is widely regarded to be the most complex terroir, and generations of wine makers have spent their lives trying to understand the complexity and the differences between not only the communes, but neighbouring climates.
It is not just the variability of the soil or the inheritance laws that add to the complexity, it is the unique ability of Pinot Noir to express all of the above to give us wines of superb grace, elegance, unimaginable silkiness and a haunting perfume.
Our Head Sommelier, Terry Kandylis has personally selected a brilliant line-up of expressions to represent this historical win-producing region.
